"I feel like I'm not myself"

I feel like I'm not myself when I look in the mirror, when I look at myself in pictures, when I'm picking out my clothes.

I feel like I'm not myself when I look in the mirror, when I'm putting on my makeup, when I'm choosing clothes, when I'm washing myself in the bath.

When I am aware of my self, I feel fluffy and detached from my body.

A body without substance is not me.

There is no me there.

But the people around me think that empty body is me and talk to it.

I watch them. A little higher up.

No one can see the real me. It's very painful.

So I draw a picture.

I draw and make myself present so that everyone can see inside of me.

By painting through my body, I am able to connect with it.

For me, the body is just a container.

But without this container, I cannot exist in this world.
